We went here yesterday with 3 kids (4 and under) and LOVED it. The animals were a hit and we didn't have time to do the full bridge walk but we absolutely loved the swim in the river. The staff were very attentive, the gardens are stunning and the kids loved the traditional Vanuatu stories and fruit snack. But by far, the best was the swim. The water was cool and crystal clear and the staff quickly brought us tires to float on and we just ADORED this spot. We highly recommend a visit to Eden and especially the swimming in the river. Perfect if it's a hot steamy day as the river is cool and in the shade of large trees. Great place with kids of any age.

This is very pricy. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. You do all,the work and the people there just take your money. Go zip lining instead.

Dear Spedymary, I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your experience at Eden, most of our guests do enjoy the informative walk through the gardens and bush. Unfortunetely the bridges do require that you need to do all the work. I am pleased that you enjoyed the zip line. Thankyou for taking the time to give us feed back.

My sons have not stopped raving about this place since we went. We did the Bridges tour and our 5 year old did it without hesitation. The location is simply stunning, the river, the gardens, gorgeous.

We had a refreshing swim in the river which was so much fun as there are tubes that you can ride down small waterfalls. We finished off with a walk around the garden and a fresh lime juice and fresh fruit platter which had some divine exotic fruits I had never seen before, let alone tried. The jackfruit was delish!

The staff were really friendly and knowledgable and there was a big playground for the kids. I've already promised my boys I'll take them back to do the Eden Farm Park tour and I'm totally looking forward to it.

We went to Eden on the River in October 2013 and went late in the afternoon and it was awesome! The water was a bit cool but refreshing and still nice to go for a swim after we walked along the bridge which you are harnessed to and then end with a flying fox! They also have an awesome kids playground area which is really cool and takes you back to how playgrounds were when you grew up and the petty zoo is really cool too, especially seeing one day old lambs!
We are now living in Vanuatu and had friends come over on their honeymoon so we decided to take them to Eden to have the same experience as we did and if we hadn't planned on going around the island that day we probably would have stayed there all day. We went there in the morning and as the weather was a bit warmer the river was perfect to relax and swim in for ages. It was so peaceful and you could just stare up into the trees and feel like you are in heaven. Walking along the bridges it was awesome to take photos of the amazing scenery and crystal clear water holes of the river.
After over an hour of sitting in the tyre rings they supplied and exploring the river pools, we got out feeling so clean and refreshed. We were then presented with a big platter of fresh local fruit and fresh lime juice, all which was grown in the gardens of Eden.
The owners and staff are so nice, welcoming and their knowledge of the plants in Eden and historical stories is something you will take home with you.
Only being a smooth 15-20 minute drive from town it is definitely somewhere we would go often and take any visitors we have to Eden on the River.
I have been to cascades waterfalls many times before and I think if you have to choose between the two, Eden on the River will win for sure! So much more natural and the feeling of an untouched paradise.
If you are coming over on holidays or live here, this is a must do!!!
