Mangoes is a fantastic place to stay, it is away from the main street, very well presented and very clean. The staff are nice & very friendly, The rooms are very well presented, currently moving from Brisbane to Port Vila.

Stayed at Mangoes for 4 nights from 1 May 2013 with my mum. Had Bure Number 12, Lagoon view, very comfortable. Loved sitting on balcony, great views. Weather was great. Resort is beautiful, with gardens throughout. All three pools great. Food at the restaurant excellent, would have liked more entree choices such as pasta and soup but for those who love seafood, lots of choice. Massages were great, ask for Lucy, best massage ever, however I did point out to management the need for music to be played during the massages. Above all, what made the holiday so special was the staff. They are wonderful people, caring, helpful, friendly and so happy. They took the time to just chat and were interested in getting to know us. Would recommend Mangoes for a relaxing, child free holiday.

Room Tip: Bure 12 was great, not too far from retaurant with excellent views but the fan in main area did wake me couple of nights with a clicking sound. Turned it off and then back on towards morning and it was fine.

I visit Port Vila every year and couldn't be happier with our stays at Mangoes. Nice rooms, friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble. I needed some washing done and back to me the same day, even though it rained most of the day I still got my washing back. Nice outlook and although it is a maybe a bit out of the way its quiet and still only a 10 minute walk to the centre of tow.

Room Tip: make sure you get a room with air conditioning if visiting between October - May.

Recently stayed at Mangoes for two nights, then we moved over to the adjacent well appointed "The Terraces" apartments next door for 5 nights run by Mangoes and enjoyed it immensely! Very comfortable and our only regret was that we had to leave! Apartment was spacious and we just had to walk a few steps to the large negative edge infinity pool overlooking an expansive view of the lagoon several hundred meters below and large hills in the distance! Very memorable!

Room Tip: Ask for an apartment with a dunk pool on the highest cliff such as 313.

I stayed a week at mangoes in April and it was ok. The light breakfast is just that very light and if your planning to eat big and not have lunch then think again.
When I arrived I was shown my room by one of the owners. The room smelt of damp which I mentioned and they quickly changed the mattress and sheets. I was happy with the quick and efficient service to amend this. A warning they have signs saying that the tiles can be slippery this is not the case they are VERY slippery ALL The time when wet. Be careful inside and outside.
