At the very end of a dirt track past the shipping containers with a driver who insisted there was nothing "down there" It was pouring with rain and he was getting bogged in the mud. We eventually found the most beautiful building on the edge of the ocean. The maitre'd was warm and welcoming, the owner came and chatted to us and just being in the delightful room with a glass of bubbles lifted the spirit. The food was lovely. Not being a great meat eater I was determined to try the Vanuatu beef that has such a good name and I thought this was going to be the best place to do so. It did not disappoint. A piece of eye fillet that was cooked to perfection. My husband had the beef curry that he said was also very very good. Beautifully presented. All in all a lovely meal.
