Description: A great place to hang out for the day. The Beach Bar is famous for its wood fire pizzas, but offers a large choice of alternatives as well. The kids just love playing on the beach with all the free water toys while Mum & Dad relax in the beer garden. Sit back and enjoy the stunning sunsets over Mele Bay whilst enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine. Keep an eye out for the special "Friday Night Fire Dancing" evenings, Tuesday Movie nights on Port Vila's biggest screen, right on the beach and our Sunday Sessions starting with live music from 1pm followed by our great new show "Sunday Kustam Karnival" where Bank's Snake Dancers meet our talented Circus Performers". Something for everyone at The Beach Bar!

Had heard about the friday night fire show so went to watch we arrived about 4.45 (show starts at 7 but we had been told to arrive early) to find there was only one table left al the others were reserved. ordered wood fired pizzas about 5.10 and they arrived about 6ish we had eaten by time the fire show started. The couple that shared a table with us ordered about 30 mins after us and still hadnt received there meals after the fire show finished (about 7.30 and got refunded their money) There was a hughe crowd there (guess 300-350) and atmosphere was fantastic. Went back on a Wednesday afternoon and it was a lot quieter only 10 or so people My tip would be to book and arrive early to ensure you get a seat and your meal before the fire show

We visited the Beach Bar a number of time during our stay in Vanuatu and took advantage of their wonderful service and events they offer. Firstly, during the day enjoyed the sunshine and relaxing environment, swimming with the kids and playing on the water toys. We visited the neighboring markets and had a ride on the jet skis. Plus a quick trip down the road to the Zorbing for some extra excitement.
Their specialty cuisine is pizza. They offer a variety of choices and we couldn't stop eating them, they were devine! I also have to mention the the very friendly service from the staff as they made us feel so welcome and special.
Sunday they put on a circus show with an amazing trapeze act at sunset, this was so much fun for everyone, especially the children. Tuesday we had a busy day so we grabbed the deck chairs at 7pm and enjoyed the movie which was shown on a giant screen on the beach front. It was an outdoor theatre worth experiencing. The highlight of their entertainment was the "World's Best Fire Show". We have seen many fire show but this was definitely the most spectacular!!! Very well organised and professionally executed. The show is free, however they do offer donations at the end which go to the dancers. We would highly recommend adding your cash. Then take advantage of photos and meeting the dancers after.
The Beach Bar is a wonderful place to take your family and we highly recommend a trip there for when visiting Vanuatu.

We went on Friday night, arrived around 5.15. Every table was either booked or full. They were a bit overwhelmed by the amount of people that arrived. We ordered pizza almost as soon as we got there an a bowl of chips. The chips arrived after about 30 minutes and then we waited. and waited. The fire dancers started - still no pizza. I went up to the pizza counter to be assured that it would get there soon, so I waited. The fire dancers finished, still no pizza. Waiters were bringing out food, not knowing which table it belonged to and just leaving it on empty tables and walking away. Saw the manageress who was good enough to refund our money for the pizzas that didn't arrive. Had to get into town to get something to eat as the place had run out of food. So, if you want to see the firedancers, make sure that you book, arrive really early and order your food early.

Great food with wood fired pizzas. Drinks are fare priced and there is a fire show on every Friday night at 7. Get there early (ie 5-530) as there is a large crowd by 6.
The fire show is a must see!!!
