The view from the restraunt is fantastic and a nice cool breeze blowing through the open doors keeps the place at a great temperature. After deducting the 1000 vatu each for the entrance fee to the island and ferry, the cost of the food on the island was pretty good compared to a lot of places around Vila and the selection was pretty good.

The fresh lime crush while sitting on the deck or the beach at high tide is a must if you have time.

Staff were not as friendly or helpful as many other places around Vila though.

Visited Aqua twice for lunch. Bit ordinary. Burger was bland, said there was cheese in it but I couldn't find any. Fed most of the burger bun to the fish. Wrap - hard and stale. For the price it was very disappointing. Great spot though sitting out by the lagoon watching the fish. We've had dinner there before and it was okay and the dessert was amazing, wild strawberry crepes with vodka ice cream. But for lunch go to town and get value for money.

My family and I stayed in a family villa for a week and only ate here twice. Way too expensive so a trip to town for dinner was a better option and allowed a greater choice.

Stayed for 3 days. Food was average - had a couple of nice meals, but a coupld less than average The straw that broke the camels back was that we were served Rotten tuna one night - far past its best by date. They replaced our meal but no apology or explanation, even though I asked from some feedback from the chef. Staff can be indifferent and rude though some are helpful and friendly. A real mixed bag.

After walking around this little island resort and lounging next to the water's edge, we had our lunch at the cafe. We were able to redeem the cost of our ferry ride across to the island off our meal charge. A pleasant relaxing interlude all around.
