“A local experience”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

Numbawan is on the waterfront, basic chairs and tables under an opened canopy shelter. We had cool drinks and coffee on the two occasions we went there. The service was OK, the bonus for us was the free wi fi. The internet service was intermittent so we were able to download emails but not much else. There was no sense that we were rushed or expected to then drink and leave. There is not much ambience and mainly filled with tourists using wi fi.

Not really on your must do list but fine to sit and relax while checking emails.

“Took forever to get served”

Took forever to get served. People who came in after us had food by the time we made our order and the food was adequate at best.

“Sunset Beer & Pizza”

Sunset view one of the best!! Great pizza, cold beers, even a movie thrown in if required. Offers free Wifi with purchases. The sunset from here is exceptional!

“Just one of the locals - a nice place to while away the day.”
Reviewed March 25, 2014

We spent some time at Namabawan on several occasions. Do try the Kava Coladas! Food is good, local, down to earth stuff, cheap and tasty. You can log onto their wi fi with the password they provide at the time of any purchase.

“Very bad service”
Reviewed March 24, 2014

We have been there to have a couple of drinks. Before ordering we showed a coupon to the waitress (pay 1 get 2), asking if it was valid for the drinks we were purchasing: the answer was "Yes, you can".
So we ordered a coffee which it was ok, and an avocado juice which it was 95% banana and 5% avo probably.
When it was time for the bill, we gave the waitress our voucher, she took it with her and came back saying that we can't use it, we then explained her that we asked her colleague. Her reaction was simply to go away and serve somebody else without saying a word.
Very surprised, we went to the cashier and after explaining the situation, she said that it was not her fault.
We paid in full, without even hearing a "sorry!".
Definitely a no - go.
