We had lunch here while holidaying in Vanuatu. The food was great and the beer they brew on the premises is great. The reason I've given an average rating is because when we went to pay the bill there were many drinks added that we had not ordered or drunk! My husband and I had a cider each and then he went on to drink a couple more beers... the bill showed several different spirits with mixers and 13 beers! My husband likes a beer or two, but there is no way he drank that many beers in the two hours we were there! I was able to argue the spirits off the bill, but they wouldn't budge on the beers as that was what he had been drinking and we had no way of proving how many he had really drunk! I was on the verge of refusing to pay for anything when I realised I was flanked by extra staff members, including security. Was a rather upsetting and frustrating experience. We had the most wonderful stay in Vanuatu and this was one of the only negative experiences we had, so don't take this review as a reflection on the country itself. I would just suggest that if you plan to stay on after a meal you should take care of the bill and then pay each time for any further drinks.
