We went here for dinner during our holiday in Port Vila. We were seated outside which was very pleasant on a tropical evening. The plus side was that there were almost no flying insects, the downside was that there wasn't quite enough lighting to be comfortable. If if was a tradeoff between fewer bugs or more light I'd take the former any day. The service was friendly, attentive, and fast. There was a large wine menu, fairly extensive menu with lots of daily specials. The green papaya salad had a well balanced flavour but the only criticism I'd make is that the papaya could have been cut a little smaller and in more consistent sizes. We had kumara wedges which were deliciously crispy and sweet on the inside. I had the steak with red wine jus served on Kumara mash. The steak was wonderfully tender with a nicely flavoured sauce. My wife had steak served with chips, again the only complaint was that the chips were served under the steak and seemed to have been sitting in the oil too long (or the oil hadn't been hot enough). After having the kumara wedges earlier these were a little disappointing. While we were paying the bill the staff went and flagged down a local bus for us so we could get back to our Resort on the other side of town. Quite a nice meal that just had a few rough edges.
