Jills cafe has apparently been in port Vila for years, and serves up good basic food. The selection of hamburgers will compare favourably to anywhere in the world, which is surprising for a pacific nation as normally beef is more of a rarity in such places. Its not until you realise that cattle farms are extensive on the both Efate, santo and a few of the other islands, and that the export of beef is a major earner, that you understand the anomaly. Beef is more common than fish! Jills provides a large selection, the kitchen is pretty open to view and the staff are friendly and efficient.
Jills is not so much a must do, but if you are in town and looking for a place to eat, you can't go past it for better value for money
