We took the Jugle Safari tour. Picked up from our resort around 1pm and taken into their office and site in town where we were given a quick read through the rules and regulations and handed out helmets to wear. Tip, wear a baseball cap and leave it on under your helmet. helps them fit all head sizes and hygiene also. Also wrap around sunnies a must, for children too. You need a current drivers licence for this tour. My husband and I took out two children aged 6 and 4. Two people per buggy.Prepare to get dirty. Dusty or muddy. It will happen so wear old clothes. If you are short, wear sneakers, it will help with being able to reach the accelerator and brake. These buggies are fully automatic so turn key on start engine and accelerate. Easy. You are assisted with your harness which must be worn. We drove through the streets of PV then onto dirt roads, many potholes but suspension seems to handle them very well ( thought they would be very rough but were pretty good) and onto a farm for some fun. More dirt roads, abit of rainforrest jungle driving then into a village for refreshments. We took stickers for the village kids instead of lollies and after showing them what to do with them by the time we left they had them all over them. So worth it. I think out of gratification, one of the village men took my family through part of his village showing us their water supply, kitchen hut, pigs, chickens and vegetable farm explaining how they live and what they do. We also met members of his family. He was a gorgeous man and so forthcoming and proud of how they live. So worth taking some time to spend with these people and not just be a tourist. More driving along dirt roads, sad now the children of the villages run out expecting lollies and calling for them but some just happy to give high fives. Onto the black beach and a drive along it, more dirt roads and a scenic stop off with photo opportunity over looking the bay of PV then back into the town office. What a fantastic arvo and takes you places for scenery a tourist wouldn't normally see. We were very dusty dirty but had so much fun.

When my partner and i went on the buggy ride it was the most fun we had had on the island at that time you get to see the town and around the island villages see the children run out at you looking for lollies so bring a bag of lollies with you and throw them out to the children you get to see a lot of the island in a short time with the fun and the thrill of the ride as well we loved it would do it again.

This was a fun filled, action packed 1/2 day ride. Buckled up, off we drove in formation, and went from bitumen to bush and some mud. Stopped at black sands beach and were surrounded by pickaninnies (local children). I had bought two bags of lollies, so the head guy taking us out, made them line up and I gave them one each, with many trying to get a second, but I was discouraged from this. On the track side on the bush tracks, pickaninnies jumped from jungle or ran from their homes, to either ask for lollies, which I grab occasional handfuls and threw them out, or just to hit our hands saying "High Five". Beware, some of the older children can really give your hand a whack and half. All in all a great ride.

We were a group of 4 friends wanting to have some "filthy fun filled experience" on the buggy .
The whole trip was intended for 3 1/2 hours. Well to begin with we hardly drove through "wet and soggy off road track" . It was mostly on tar roads through the villages ( not the bush!) Then when we reached a place where the brunch was to be served , we were kept waiting for almost 1 hr 20min!!!!!!!!!! as the lunch wasnt ready !! I was so annoyed with the deal that I shall never recommend this adventure to anyone.

My husband and i did the snorkel, kayak and lunch tour. We had a great time. The bus dropped us at the rental and we were assigned a buggy and crazy helmet with leather horns and away we went. We headed for a village where the tour guide said we could purchase a bag of lollies for 500 vatu because all the children come running out when they hear the buggy - he wasn't kidding they come form everywhere and you have to be careful of the little ones that you don't hit them. There are heaps of children so try and hang onto the lollies for a bit because by the time we reached the ones at the end we'd run out - but they were pretty happy high fiving us has we drove by. We then stopped at Black sand beach to have a brief walk around then back to the buggies to head to Benjour Beach club. We arrived and met our kayaking guides. The kayaking was optional, but we thought we'd give it ago. It was really choppy the day we went so it was a bit of a workout getting to the small sand island, but the snorkeling was good when we got there. Then we headed back for lunch at Benjor Beach club. We had a great day and enjoyed the tour.
