I've stayed at this hotel off an on for business trips over the last ten years or more. The good points: the staff are helpful and friendly, going out of their way to assist you and make your stay comfortable. The rooms are large and air conditioned. There is a nice small bar where you can enjoy a drink and look out over the main street of Nuku'alofa.
The bad points: the rooms are woefully in need of renovation and upgrading, from the beds, the carpet to the paint and furnishings. The lobby has a small dining area, but unless you book your meals quite far in advance, it's not open. It used to offer nice breakfasts and had a menu for lunch and dinner, but no more. It's a great location, being right in the middle of town, so it's close to everything. Once it's fixed up, it will once again be a great place to stay.More
