I love that hotel! I've been there during the big catholic "conference", so all food and beverages has been transferred to the venue, and the hotel was out of food. But the service was excellent, beautiful and lovely waitress. I suggest you a visit.

The previous review is spot-on. Old and tired hotel, but clean, with great staff. We had to get up and away by 6am to catch a plane to 'Eua. Two staff members ensured we did. Lovely low-key atmosphere and right in the middle of town. Paul, New Zealand

Well, maybe it was the fact that we'd been already been traveling for 72 hours from the east coast of the U.S., but this little hole-in-the-wall was surprisingly hospitable. The place is tired-----very tired-----but the room was clean and almost spacious (though the bathroom was teeny). The lobby bar overlooking the street was rather pretty with its ceiling covered with local tapa cloth. Although we arrived VERY late at night, the bartender saw us coming and was out on the street in an instant to help with our bags. All the staff was helpful and friendly. The in-town location was convenient to everything other than the airport. This is NOT the Ritz! Nor is it by any stretch of the imagination a "Western-style" hotel. It is what it is, and is adequate for those who don't need luxury (or are too tired to care!)
