After spending hours researching Solomon islands and things to do mambo juice was in my top 10 things to do before I left Brisbane on my first overseas advententure and after a quick 3 hour flight I was in Honiara and gob smacked at the humidity, I didn't get around to mambo juice until the 4th day although now I wish I went 2 times a day it was that GOOD
getting out of the car looking at the big mambo juices sign and all the anticipation of waiting my taste buds started going of like a frog in a sock, your greeted with excellent smiles and a bubbly atmosphere that warms the heart when your a long way from home, they hand you a well designed menu with something for everybody and the option to throw a sneaky shot in it if you desire, I ordered THE DAY AFTER, freshly cut up pineapple, guava, and coconut juice...... my mouths still watering for it as im typing...... they direct you out into a little tropical garden fully secluded from the busy life of Honiara and the waterfall quickly makes you feel weightless, timeless followed by a sense of comfort equivalent to going home to mums for Christmas. hours could pass chatting, playing cards or reading and the juices are just amazing. Mambo Juice is more than just juice its a sip into paradise it is exotic ecstasy.
