“Good food by the Pac ocean”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Good food but few options. Nice ambience and view. Close by 5pm. Why? Seem to be getting good crowd for lunch but wonder why they are closed in the evenings. Nice place to hang out for dinner if they open. Ample parking. I think Fred needs to look at this and I am sure many have asked him to do that.

“A haven in Honiara”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

At last somewhere close to the water in Honiara where you get lunch and coffee. You can sit insude with air con or outside on the deck. I ate here a few times and all the food was great as was the coffee. It's stylishly designed and uncluttered. It's going to be serious competition for the popular Lime Lounge. If you're staying at the Mendana it's next door effectively although you have to go back onto the main road and back down the driveway to get there. They don take credit cards though - you will need cash.

“Clean, Well Run & Cosmopolitan”
Reviewed July 27, 2013

I had a short stay in Honiara, staying at the hotel next door to this cafe. Chose to eat here rather than in the hotel. But its closed for dinner.

The food was familiar, tasty and coffee really good. Service was efficient. The whole place was very clean and I felt confident hygiene standards and relaxed about eating the food here. Sometimes it got a bit noisy when it was full, but no more than anywhere else really.

And the staff were all very friendly and fast, even though they were busy.

“Wonderful!”
Reviewed July 26, 2013

Modern, stylish and great location right on the water - head and shoulders above anything else in Honiara. Great menu selection and of a very good standard. Service can be little slow / disjointed but then so is everything else on 'Sol Time'.
