The bento box at this restaurant is quite a good option for lunch in Honiara and won't set you back much more than lunch at some of the ex-pat cafes. It can fill up pretty quickly sometimes so best to get there close to 12 o'clock (lunch in Solomon Islands is generally 12 to 1). The tempura is always excellent but sometimes the sashimi and stir fry can be a little bit light on. Like most places in Honiara, service tends to be slow - you will wait a long time between being given the menu and someone taking your order and even longer for your food to arrive especially if there is a big crowd. I think it does dinner most nights, but lunch is Monday to Friday - you might need to check with the front desk at the Mendana Hotel. Although located with sea views it is set up in such a way that you can't really enjoy them unless you eat outside in the full sun - not recommended.
