I was in Palau on business and only dove 1 day. However, my web research proved correct as the 5-star rating of PDA proved right on. The crew were top-notch, friendly, responsive, efficient pros. Nice small group size w max of 10 for boat -- we had 6 divers and 3 guides. We did 3 tanks/dives and all were gorgeous. The dive team monitored the diverse clients perfectly and led us to spectacular sites. Jillions of sharks and all the other biggies you expect in Palau. They even serve a very nice bento lunch on a pleasant beach served in real lacquered wood box -- lots of choices and no SPAM or weenies! This company hustles to keep customers happy and delivers!

Dear Paul,

Thank you for doing your "web research" and choosing to dive with us. We sincerely appreciate it!

At least you got in one day of diving and hopefully next time you can a bit more time diving and not so much time working. :)

Thank you again for diving with us and for taking the time out of your busy schedule to write a review of us.

Kindest regards always,

Team PDA

Can't say enough about the crew at PDA. Helpful, friendly people who went out of their way to make our trip enjoyable.

Jason, Jaime and everyone else on the team are good people.

Highly recommend PDA. Would love to go back.

You may know about them taking care of your dive equipment all week. You may know about the EXCELLENT bento box lunches. But what I was really impressed with was the transportation service. I stayed at an airbnb a few miles outside of downtown Koror, and it wasn't an issue for them to pick me up and drop me off every day for no addition charge. Jaime actually drove out to the property prior to my arrival just to make sure he knew how to get there. He then offered to drive me around town when I wasn't diving. He picked me up twice to drive me to dinner and even picked me up at 6:30am to transfer me to a dock for an excursion to Peleliu with a different company. That's full service!

And they go to all the good dive spots, not just the places close to the dock. They give you variety - wrecks, coral/wildlife dives and even Chandelier Cave, which is an incredibly unique experience.

Go with these guys. When you account for the 3 dives per day, including free nitrox and the other perks, it's well worth the cost.

Dear Joe!

Thank you again for "diving" with us, looks like maybe you had almost as much fun "driving" with us! We want our guests to experience more than just the marvels underwater but, also the topside activities on land. We all know the underwater world of Palau is amazing, but, so are the people of Palau and you only get that staying on the island.

We truly thank you for diving with us and we will relay your gratitude for our service to Jaime.

Thank you again for doing all the research on Palau and choosing to dive with us.

Kindest regards,

Mary Ann Napil - Dive Shop Manger and Jaime's Older Sister :)

PDA is no doubt the nicest and best dive center in Palau. From their website to booking and finally to diving, they were professional and extremely helpful, making our time in Palau unforgettable.

If you ever search for diving in Palau, the first result will be their website. Not only does it exhibit the wonderful dive sites of Palau, it even recommends things to do in Palau outside of diving. Their website is easy to navigate and is a fantastic resource to your trip in Palau.

Booking with Cheryl was very easy and helpful. She made everything very clear and even gave us recommendations for places to eat. Pickup is great and your dive gear will be taken care of very well.

The divemaster in PDA is very experienced and knows the dive sites very thoroughly. Unfortunately jellyfish lake was closed when we booked our dives, however the PDA team gave us an extra dive instead. Every single dive was special and memorable. We all dived nitrox so we had so much time underwater. Being the most expensive dive center in Palau, I found every dollar worth. I’m not going to spoil what you will find while diving here, everything is truly very special and you have to see it for yourself.

If you’re diving in Palau and want the best experience, there is no better dive center than PDA.

Dear "Schemetrical",

Thank you for choosing to dive with us! You obviously did your homework and researched all the options in Palau. We are very happy to hear you found our website resourceful.

In fact, we found some things we want to tweak on our website and as such will launch a newer website that is more informative in the next 3 weeks. It is our goal to show that this is so much more than a dive trip. It is an experience that the memories will last a lifetime.

I did a trip 9 years ago with a group of people on the dive boat and I am still in contact with them today, so all very special times.

Thank you again for choosing to dive with us and we look forward to being even better the next time you come.

Forever grateful,

Team PDA
Chris

We really enjoyed diving in Palau this visit.

During a previous visit we unfortunately hooked up with one of the larger cattle-class dive operators who herded us throughout the week with little care about diving repeatedly on the same sites or sites already packed with lots of other dive boats. Our gear was trashed in their equipment rooms, etc. Really miserable last time.

This time we really had great service and PDA offers concierge type diving. Once they picked us up from the airport and delivered us to the Palau Pacific Resort our equipment was prepped, cleaned and stored by them each dive day. They simply picked us up at the resort dock promptly at 8 AM, arriving at the premiere dive sites before the competition. After each day of great diving we were dropped off back at our resort and they returned to their base where they rinsed and stored our gear.

We dove with free Nitrox all week and a highlight was the boat tour in and through the Rock Islands. Their limit is ten divers with three dive masters. Lunch and snacks were healthy and tasty. The boat never felt crowded and we hit all of the top dive sites near Palau and Pelelui. One item of negative feedback is that we not appreciate the crew and a few of our dive masters chewing and spitting Betel Nut or tobacco on the boat. We have provided this feedback to the owners of PDA and they assure us this will be addressed. But for this single issue this review would be five star. Nobody at Palau Pacific Resort chews on their property so we know this can be done on off hours or at home.

The dive masters were well qualified and knew how to read the current and tides to bring us the best diving at each location. Lots of sharks and great fish counts, stunning corals and fans, etc. We wish the night dive had been on a coral garden or reef and not on a murky wreck in the harbor.

Chris and Jason are owners of this great operation with Chris located in the USA to answer inquiries and to do marketing and enhancing reservations. Jason is a Palauan and he has a great ground staff with Sheryl and Jamie supporting the logistics. They operate a five day program Monday through Friday with extra dives available on weekends. Our hats off to all for their great service last week.

Dear Larry,

Thank for trusting your Palau vacation with us. We are glad you decided to come back to Palau and we are very happy choose to dive with us and got to see all the sites you came to see, enjoyed our valet service and our small groups on the boat.

Chewing beetle nut is part of the cultural in Palau and we will hopefully be able to find more great local Palauan staff who can take an 8 hour break from chewing.

Have a great summer.

Kindest regards,

Chris
