This team is both super professional with an emphasis on your safety and enjoyment, and a pleasure to spend time with. The onboard crew of Jason, Nick, Alain and Dustin were superb -- knowledgeable, helpful and dedicated to delivering an incredible, hassle-free diving experience. Cheryl runs the operations flawlessly and provides a really great customer experience. She's also probably one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Chris and Grace on the front end were also a pleasure to work with, and the behind-the-scenes crew (who clean your gear, etc.) did a great job as well. I will return to Palau and dive again with PDA, no questions asked!!!

Spent two weeks diving with these people. Had a wonderful time, they were truly dedicated to making our diving experience the best it could be. Would definitely recommend this dive shop and hopefully I will have the opportunity to dive with them again!

I have had the privilege to dive around the world, and PDA definitely comes in my top favorite diving operators.
Practically diving butler, tanks swapped for you after each dive, 18 lunch menus to chose from, teas during surface intervals. Very flexible in chosing the dive sites.
And the crew, divemasters, boat captain were super fun and friendly, Jason, Jo, Alain, Nick and the ever non smiling Dustin! Thanks a bunch.
Let's not forget the local admin office team, Sheryl and Grace.
Two remarks: I would have liked to be notified directly by the PDA team regarding the closure of Jelly Fish lake.
And on the last day, the land tour should be presented as optional, I opted to do a third dive instead of a tour, but I had to ask...
In summary a near perfect diving trip...

Although Palau has to be some of the best diving I have done over the years, so pretty terrific holiday foundation, the team at PDA make certain beyond diving the experience is as seamless as humanly possible. From Cheryl kindly fetching everyone to and from the airport at all sorts of random hours, and keeping the backend organized, to Alain being a wonderful instructor, to Jason, Nick and Joe being great dive guides to Dustin manning the boat's helm - all highly recommended. We had a maximum of 6 divers, which although means you pay a bit more, its a perfect number to go diving with. Hopefully will make it back to Palau at some stage in the near future, and if so, will use PDA again without hesitation. Stop reading these and just go book! :)

Yes, Palau Dive Adventures costs a little bit more than the other companies, but is it worth it? Most definitely! From what I saw in comparison to the other companies, Palau Dive Adventures had the newest boat and the smallest group size. The service is great; everyone was friendly and approachable. We really enjoyed all the staff. Everyone seems very experienced and professional. The lunches that are provided are delicious and the menu is extensive (your choice of over 12 different bento boxes). Fresh fruit, tea and snacks are provided on the boat as well.

They also have thoughtful little touches such as providing you with a windbreaker, own microfiber towel, your own water bottle (that you get to keep as a souvenir afterwards!), and a wetbag for the duration of your dives with them, which I really appreciated.

We arranged our hotel stay through PDA, as well as our airport pick up and drop off, which saved us time and money.

The only downfall with having such small groups is that that is no opportunity to divide people up according to skill set, and if there is one person whose skills don't match the rest of the group, it kind of throws everyone off. We had one incident where the dive guide was busy helping someone who had poor buoyancy control, while the remainder of us were unable to surface right away. We got separated by the current and had to surface ourselves in a high boat traffic area without an inflatable signaling device. There was also a guest on the boat who was allowed to drive the boat for a photo op, which I didn't think was very professional.
