Description: Alii! Drop Off Bar and Grill is an Outdoor, Open Air Bar and Grill restaurant specializing in fresh fish dishes, sashimi, burgers and pizza. We have a cozy location situated near the Neco Marine Dive Shop and marina that over looks a small bay near the Palau Royal Resort on the Malakal island. Come join us during the day for some cold drinks and lunch or for some fresh fish and cocktails on your night out. The fish is fresh, the internet is free, there is local beer on tap, the drinks are cold and there's always good company at our bar. Hope to see you soon!

“Great place to relax and have some food”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

Very nice, relaxed, outdoor atmosphere. The food is good with a variety of options. Sashimi is always fresh and delicious. Nachos are also a good choice for kids. Beer is cold and they always bring glasses of water for everyone. Wifi is free, although a little slow. One of our favorite places in Palau

“Fun hang out and good bar food”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

Good expat hang out. Nice atmosphere and phenomenal view. They push the local specialty fish - "cebus" for and extra $6. Try it once, but when the regular (no up-charge) fish is yellow-fin tuna, I'll just stick with that!

“Non-existent service, pity because the place is really nice”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

We went there for after-dinner drinks. The place was conveniently located, within walking distance from our hotel. It was on a pier, so I imagine the view would have been very nice during the day.

We sat for about 20 minutes before someone came over to take our drinks order. The drinks came in a trickle, one by one. By the time the last drink arrived, the beer that arrived first was warm. How hard was it to open a beer bottle and pour a few beers from a tap and then deliver them together?

The tables that are a little further from the bar were very poorly lighted, we could not read the menus and had to use our phones for additional lighting.

The bill took about 15 mins to arrive, and another 15 to get settled. I think this place is taking "island time" a little too literally.

We didn't try the food so really can't comment. I'd suggest going only if the place is not so busy, so you'd get some semblance of service.

“Had great hope”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

Our friends invited us to go because they liked the food and thought it a fun place. For some reason the waitress treated us as separate tables even though we were at one long table. She ignored us as she served drinks to our friends and didn't take our order until we ask her to. Then even though we all ordered food at the same time, the 3 of us had to wait an extra half hour to get our food and had to watch our 4 friends enjoy theirs. It ruin our dinner. I asked for a substitution for the rice and was told okay, but got the rice anyway once the dinner finally arrived and the waitress acted surprised when I said I had asked for veggies. Wouldn't recommend or go back.
