Located at waterfront close to downtown Koror. Our view from room was close garbage field.
Late at night strong sound from compressor and generator.
Breakfast fresh but minimal choice. Overall fresh and friendly, and good internet from the room
with internet cabel.
Price to high for B & B

We stayed at the Landmark hotel for a day and half while waiting for our live aboard to leave for a week long diving journey.

We had wanted to stay at the Palau Pacific Resort even though it was a lot more money. The Marina Landmark was a very nice alternative for this type of stay. The room was nice--I would say a step up from a Marriott Courtyard type of room. A nice TV and decent although somewhat unreliable internet connection (not wi-fi, but a cord so make sure you have an adaptor if you need one).

The breakfast was included and was quite nice. They made freshly fried eggs upon our request. We ate here for lunch and also had a nice meal. Also ate in the restaurant one evening and had a very nicely done fish meal. Very lovely.

The room views were not the best, but we weren't expecting a nice luxury resort, so it didn't bother us that much. We mainly wanted a comfortable room and a chance to recharge after a 10 hour time change from the U.S. All in all a nice experience.

The hotel is right next door to the FishNFins dive shop, so if you are diving with them, the location is great. We boarded their boats right behind the hotel.

In my old travel guide, this inn was "standard class". As reviewed here by other contributors, it is no doubt that the room of this accomodation is new and clean for "standard class".
After rennovation, however, its price indicates this accomodation should be "top-tier class". Nonetheless, other than its convenient location adjascent to a famous dive shop and its rennovation(still being undergone), it needs to improve its operation to be recognized competitive to other top-tier class accomodations, I suppose.
As pointed out by other contributors, a beautiful view of marina is not necessarily offered from balcony and you may need to keep shade closed during daytime to protect your privacy from the dive shop. I sympathize abouot unfortunate and uncontrollable location. However, rennovated stone-like veneer covering veranda had already been peeled off, which aggravated the scene and should had been under management .
Hot shower was available, but its pressure was not constant but cyclic.
Nice new sofa was furnished, but had already been spotted with many black stains.
They seemed to furnish branded mattress which I felt comfortable. But. covering linen did not offer luxery texture and comfort.
Breakfast was substandard; buffet had been the same and less variable through the stays, coarsely chopped ham and vegetable within omlette was not well heated and coffee was overheated, therefore, I ddidn't feel like trying dinner there, even though it was most convenient.
Service was OK but bureaucratic.
I would like to come back if the operation should improve or the price should drop.

Room Tip: Given the same floor, higher room number means further from shore and dive shop, thereby, closer to...

The Landmark MArina can look a bit deteriorated from the outside....but rooms are spacious and modern, bed is good and you get a big Tv!
It is right next to Fish and Fins so it is great if yoi are diving with them.
If you are not a diver you might not enjoy the sound of the people coming and going and the tanks being moved from one place to the other.
We also noticed that the water pump made noises all the time.
It is a 10 minute walk from the shops in Koror, so you dont need taxis.
Breakfast is ok, could be better.

Just beside Fish 'n Fins dive operator. They pick you up at any hotel in the island but it is good to have freedom to go and come whenever you want, and also you have some minutes more in the morning since their pick up time (at the hotels) is at 8am and we can go walking to the dive shop at 8:30 (except in the first day when you should go earlier) and still have time to take the boat.
The hotel is very good, the room big enough, the breakfast ok, the pick up service to/from airport was very efficient, free internet, near downtown (so near many restaurants and markets), but no beach, no pool and one day in our stay (7nights) the smell in the air (in the region, not the hotel) was not good.
Don´t miss to have dinner (or lunch) at Mogmog restaurant (seafood and local food) is simple, not expensive, and very very good. Go early (until 7:30pm) to have a table or after 8:30pm.

7 days Palau/7 days Yap. Landmark driver picked us up promptly at airport in middle of night and delivered us to hotel. Was a bit worried about this hotel as reviews did say was near a dump. Hotel was on a strange road and was a couple of blocks from a city land fill, but the hotel itself faced a beautiful marina. William, the hotel owner, was very friendly as was his staff. The room was spacious and the shower was great. It seems the hotel had gone through some renovation recently with new flat screen tv's, which we did not turn on, internet, fridge and the a/c rocked! The only downside to this hotel is that the balconies faced the dive op Fish n Fins not the marina and there was no chairs to dry our dive gear or just to sit outside and drink a beer after diving. The bed was a bit hard for us but when I asked for a few extra pillows the staff brought them no problem. Breakfast was basic and the cooks did eggs to order. The nearest grocery store was a 5 minute walk away. I would defintely stay in this hotel if I came to Palau again.
