As we a had considered staying at the Sea Passion, we stopped to one afternoon to dine. We were surprised to find how cleverly the photos of the hotel hide the fact that is is right on the road and the beach swimming area is in the path of tour boats.
Perhaps our first clue to the upcoming dining disaster would be the deserted table behind us on which had most of the meals had been left, uneaten.
After a leisurely wait, we ordered 2 hamburgers. After a long time, one of them was served. It looked and tasted like a hockey puck. When the second burger did not come, we asked for the check and they insisted we wait for the food. Finally, they subtracted the missing burger but very carefully pointed out they included the 10 percent gratuity.
