My partner and I were staying at the Ramada and thought we would dine here as it was convenient and we wanted a taste of what was advertised as a 'fine dining' restaurant. Our entrees were beautifully presented and tasted delicious - quite typical of what you would expect of a 'fine dining' restaurant. I had the salmon opera and he had the cheese wraps. The mains on the other hand were a real disappointment. I ordered the tuna and when it arrived it was a piece of tuna resting on plain white rice with deep fried samosas on the side, it didn't exactly meet the standards of fine dining - more like a meal that you would expect to be served at a pub. My partner order the pork which was burnt and the potato it was served with was cold. The contrast between the entrees and mains made me assume that perhaps there was a different chef cooking the mains.
When the waiter cleared our plates he asked if everything was alright and I voiced my thoughts. He seemed to have an I don't care attitude. The service was poor, we had to ask three times for water to be delivered to our table!!! I will definitely not be recommending this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a fine dining experience.
