This is the second time we have visited this restaurant and can't fault it in any way. The food was wonderful and fresh. The service excellent and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming.
We chose this place to celabrate our 20th anniversay and it was a very special night. We are a same sex couple and were made feel like part of the family.
My partner went outside and the accordian player sang a song because she had a wonderful smile, (I agree). It made our night.
I would recomend this place to anyone and although the food and service is wonderful, it is reasonably priced.
I can't wait for my next visit.
Take a tip and book if you want a table or you might miss out.

After a suggestion from our receptionist at Royal Tera, we thought it sounded perfect. The restaurant setting was nice and the two younger female waitresses were lovely. We ordered the fried prawns and the prawns with mayonnaise for entree. Both were average without much taste. The baked lobster was ok, but the lobster mornay casserole was horrible... bits of shell through it and what looked like the cheap cuts of the lobster & other seafood. For the total of 121,000 it was really disappointing. The waitresses were really apologetic although the owner didn't seem to care. This restaurant was meant to be the best seafood in Noumea, but if you are used to nice Aussie seafood, then wait til you get back home.... maybe the veal would have been a better choice :-)

After a warm and friendly welcome we were shown to our corner table with a great view of the room which was very comfortably airconditioned after the heat of the day. Service was prompt and the multilingual staff had no trouble understanding us or explaining the menu. The food arrived very quickly and was excellent. The Crayfish (Lobster) with garlic and parsley sauce, the Snapper with pepper sauce and the Veal with butter sauce were all perfectly cooked, well presented and uncomplicated. The Crayfish and Snapper both came with rice and the veal came with tomato and potato. We ordered a side of green beans sauteed in garlic. French food is usually quality ingredients well prepared and these meals all reflect that. Deserts were also traditional French fare with quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The wine list was extensive and all French. It was not sold by the glass but most were available in half bottles.

Went with an open mind after many strong reviews. Anticappointment was the result. Very homely atmosphere, not a problem,. Good wait staff with strong english which is good as 90% of diners were speakjng english. The food.. Started with french onion soup, gelationous and with a burnt undertone. Disappinting only eat a third. Next.
Fuilette of crayfish , actually ok ,let down by frozen packet carrots on the side . Side dish of mushrooms with garlic and herbs, undercooked and without flair. Partner had the cunard which was covered in a gravox consistency and tasting sauce however duck was cooked well.
All food in noumea is overpriced and overrated. This one is better than some. But if u know food and have a palette prepare yourself for anticappointment !

After reading so many good reviews I must admit I ventured into Le Miretti Gascon with high expectations. Alas they were far from met with the food failing to excite. The French onion soup had a burnt taste and was overly gelatinous. The canard was overpowered by the very ordinary sauce and the crayfish was not given the chance to shine. The staff were very attentive and professional but I came away feeling the restaurant had seen better days. Certainly the food had.
