It is obvious this garden is cared for with a surplus of love. I spent a very peaceful 30 minutes strolling around, the few people I met where all smiling and happy - visitors and staff alike. The signage is adequate, though it would be nice to have some more detailed information on the flora and fauna (both wild and caged). A simple leaflet with a picture of the various species and a few lines of facts (scientific and common names, whether endemi or not etc.) would be adequate as the scale of the park is contained.
On my way out I chatted with the two girls who were manning the office/ticket counter/shop. They are both students at the U of PNG and couldn't have been sweeter at responding to all my enquiries. Thank you!
