We booked our Trek through Get away trekking & Adventures, there was not enough communication with us & found we had missed half the information. Pre Trek meeting we discovered they had forgotten hired bedding.
Once the trek commenced we discovered our boots had inflexible soles & lacked traction which was discussed with the Team leaders without any advice to a solution.
The Trek leaders insisted the slower walkers catch up to the faster walkers rather then slow the faster walkers down, just so we could set up camp earlier, leaving us very little time to take in the high lights. These Team leaders seemed more interested in competing times with the trekkers then organizing .
The people we were trekking with were fabulous as were our Porters without these we would not have completed the Trek
The meals lacked any nutritional value & inadequate in quantity ie. 1 can of spam cut into 18 pieces & the toilets on the track were a health hazard to any paying customer.
One would come to the conclusion this Trek is financed enough to at least put funds back sanitary solutions & dietary requirements,More
