The Restaurant is in very nice surroundings and has a great 'Ambiance' The staff are very attentive and the service was good, if a little slow.
The Menu has a nice choice of Appetizers and Main Courses, but sadly only a choice of 4 desserts. The pricing is good, with the exception of the house wine at SRD 25.00 (US$ 7.50) per glass, which is very high considering the 'cheapness and quality' of the wine.
The appetizers (Crab Cakes) and (Calamari) were well cooked and quite flavorful, but the Crab Cakes were lacking the key ingredient... Crab... I could not identify a single piece of crab within the 3 cakes. The Calamari was cooked perfectly, but again a little more flavor would have been welcome.
The Main Courses (Tuna Steak) and (King Crab) were very well cooked, they certainly have a chef who knows how to cook seafood. The Tuna was cooked as requested (Rare) and was served with a very nice Wasabi Cream Sauce. The King Crab was very good and fresh, but the sauce which was served on the side would have been much better if incorporated into the dish.
The pricing was reasonable and the experience was very enjoyable. I will definitely return and sample other items on the very extensive menu.
The only real negative was a smell of stagnant water (Bad Eggs) which kept wafting over occasionally. This really needs to be addressed as it could prevent me from becoming a frequent visitor.
