It's only because of its centuries long history and its equally old palmtrees that this place is interesting. But that's all. No activities, no food, nothing at all. Only a small playground. And, for your knowlegde, it's forbidden to lie down on a bench.

Nice shady palm garden. Some of these trees look very old. There's not much to do/ see here but it's a pleasant stroll if you want a bit of peace and quiet.

If you like a quiet area in the middle of a bustling city, surrounded by towering palm trees, this is the spot.

A shady park with tall, ancient royal palms. Some historical sites. However Paramaribo is full of that. Many activities take place on national holidays in this park. Not advisable to pass through after sunset and better to with company.
