Well, as the name says, it's just a palm tree garden. I'm not sure if on special occasions activities take place here... otherwise it's just nice for a stroll through the park!

This garden has its own history it used to belong to the house where the President now lives (white house of Suriname). Nowadays it has security so a safe (lovers) place.

Really really tall palms seem almost ghostly. Not much shade provided as the tree tops so high up. My husband remembers this park when the trees were young and greener. A good place to make kids run around or for a stroll.

Great place for a picknic during the day. but please avoid at night due to thioeves, prostitutes and drugdealers who operate at night in the area.
