“Palm Garden”
Reviewed April 10, 2014

This is an area that is definitely worth a visit...but not after dark. I have visited on several occasions. During local holidays, quite often there is some sort of activity here. The huge number of palm trees here really give the location an interesting feel.

“Nice palm Garden”
Reviewed December 11, 2013

Great place to hang out for a while and do photographs when you are walking the streets of paramaribo. Paloms are really tall.

“Nice garden to walk around.”
Reviewed November 26, 2013

Nice garden to walk around. For a nice picture, take the little boy statue with the Palms behind it.

“Palm trees in their glory”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

I can certainly understand how this garden got its name. Its a garden filled with long and aging palm trees. The country obviously values this site since efforts are being made to ensure its continued survival with new palm trees being planted

“Boring”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

i was expecting a nice garden with a kiosk to buy drinks or a terrace to sit,but it s just palm trees and nothing else. Also be careful not to get your stuff stolen not only at night but at the daytime too. This part of Paramaribo is so less charming ,i d rather be at Blauwgrond hanging out with locals and eat some good food from warungs that they are all over the place there but not in the touristic center.
