I found reference to this restaurant on the internet but no reviews. As it is located in part of the town I didn't yet know I went a bit early arriving about 5:30 pm. They are not open until 6:00 pm but they let me in and took my order for something not actually on the menu - I requested a Chicken Vindaloo, in total this was a pretty good start ! The restaurant is set up in the garden of a private house and is well presented, neat, tidy and clean. You eat under a modern tin roof and the breeze blows through in this leafy area. Watch out for their Vindaloo - I have been eating curries for 45 years and this one was HOT HOT !! The portion was generous to a fault, they gave me a popadum and there was a very big side dish of fresh chopped vegetables. If you are used to UK- style curries, this is the closest you will find in Paramaribo unless there is somewhere else like it which in 2 months I have not found. For those who can read maps it is located at the extreme south-east end of the street which becomes a cul-de-sac after the last side road.
