I was expecting this place to be very nice, but, it was just OK, I mean, medium. I stayed one night but wanted to stay 1 week. Since the hotel was full the next days, I had to move (which was perfect as the other place was really great). The hotel staff was very very friedly and polite. The room was simple, fan and twin beds. Bathroom and shower are shared. The building itlsef is a nice wooden villa located on the edge of the city center, after the cathedral.

An great experience at a clean, affordable and beautiful guesthouse where guests from all over the world meet. My room was clean, nice bed, shower, AC; cant beat the price.

On the negative side the WifFI was down and no one seems to be in a hurry to fix it, and that continued for days.

A great place to stay. Great location; close to the shopping and the Waterfront areas.

Room Tip: All the rooms are awesome!! The cheapest guesthouse in the Region with Character also. Many Dutch and French travellers go there.

I stayed at both Zus&Zo and Guesthouse24 during my time in Parbo. Guesthouse 24 has the nicer, more spacious rooms and the lovely veranda to relax on, but it was empty when i was there, so not very social. Zus&Zo has small, cramped rooms, but it has the lively cafe downstairs with friendly staff and a constant stream of customers, so a lot more social. Plus it has the better location, being across the road from the Palmentuin.

Had a great time in Paramaribo and we had the stay @ guesthouse 24 as the basis of a short squash tournament between Curacao and Surinam. Do not expect the 5star luxury and pe take into account you have to share your shower with other (as we did it with a team we did not have "strangers" amongst them ;-) but that is more or less shown in the pricing. One thing to admit; try to reserve the room with a/c! the others have fans but does not get as cool of course

Room Tip: One room with A/C (upstairs) Very central and shops etc in walking distance ZuZ en Zo is sisther restaurant

This is a find place to stay. We stayed long enough to experience a few rooms. All rooms are with share bathroom. They keep it clean and comfortable. There is only one AC room, a little dark, the window giving on the stairway. But some others have great light. They have WiFi who is sometime out of service or on and off when you need it.
The hotel is next to a stream who is not very clean, and the smell sometime can be uncomfortable.
There is no restaurant but they serve breakfast with an Excellent coffee
We can recommend the place, the staff is helpful and friendly.

Room Tip: This hotel has also another one name Zous and So with a find restaurant
