Food is very good as it happens also for Piegari´s restaurants in Buenos Aires or Punta del Este. However, pricies are a bit out of range.
The menu offfers a very interesting variety of italian food (do bet on pasta!), with a poor wine list , a pity.
Service staff is nice and fits with the comfortable & quite atmosphere.
An additional pro is the location in front of Sheraton Hotel.
All in all, I paid USD 65 for an entrée , a dessert and 375 cl. of chilean white wine, seems too much for a good meal.

This restaurant is right in front of the Sheraton hotel. The decoration is beautiful, the staff is very nice. They greet you with a glass of champagne or you choice of beverage. The food is delicious. They start your meal with warm bread and grisinis with a cream cheese with herbs. We had different pastas, all of them wonderful. Desserts are yummy!! Egoista de Chocolate (Chocolate Selfish) is a warm chocolate souffle served with ice cream. Merengata de Frutilla is a big cup of vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and strawberrys.
Be careful with the times. They close, as most restaurants do in Asuncion, from 3 pm until 7 pm.
We stayed for around 10 days in Asuncion, and went to Piegari around 7 times!!!
