“For traditional colombian dishes”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

Excellent option to try colombian dishes. Love the Ajiaco (traditional dish of Bogotá). The restaurant is an old style one, mixed with colombian colonial and traditional colombian ways.

“Nice lunch...”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

We ordered empanadas and patacone which were amazing! The lunch portions were tremendous and we did not need to eat dinner later in the day! Sangria was tasty too!

“Simple, Authentic and elegant!”
Reviewed December 12, 2012

I went to the Casa Vieja by "el eje ambiental" I like this restaurant a lot. I know some people will say that they can find better food at other restaurants but they are missing the point. This restaurant keep old fashion recipes and I like the simplicity of it. I love the Ajiaco because is not pretentious in any way. You can taste the fresh ingredients as soonest you start your meal. The place is great an antique house very well decorated. I felt very relax eating there....belive me...i Have time to enjoy my meal no rush to finish! A very good ambience!!

“Dreadful”
Reviewed December 12, 2012

Went there as part of a group. The starter of mixed tapa style dishes was pretty good. As a main, the Almuerza Campesino was recommended by a Colombian colleague. It consisted of different pieces of tough, fatty, inedible meat, floating in a broth that lacked any flavour or seasoning. One of the worst meals I've ever eaten.

“Overrated.”
Reviewed December 7, 2012

The food was okay, the service was disappointing. The prices are inflated. Avoid, unless you are looking for a tourist trap.
