Little extra I can add to the already stunning reviews. Seven of had the tasting menu including one with a gluten intolerance. Absolutely brilliant. Great wine list. One of the best meals in Colombia.

“Don't come to Bogota without dining here”
Reviewed April 13, 2014

Thankfully I don't need to try too hard to win you over. Matiz is sitting on number 2 for a reason. The food is quality, the service is great the atmosphere is both relaxing and romantic. Matiz is an all-man clan that carefully takes your order, pours your drink, pushes in your chair and serves you your food. Service is top notch, the cocktails were delicious, both well balanced and generous.

The menu is creative, well thought out and by Columbian standards, definitely on the higher priced side. The wasabi/mayo tuna was one of the best tuna we've ever eaten. The standout was the Argentinian beef ribs - they were cooked to perfection, well seasoned and well accompanied on a very delicate pumpkin puree - I would go back just for this dish.

“Romantic and Peaceful”
Reviewed March 25, 2014

Excellent restaurant. Very peaceful, romantic - date night sort of place. When making reservations, ask for a table next to the waterfall sculpture. We opted for ala carte menu but the tasting menu was intriguing.

“Still outstanding”
Reviewed March 19, 2014 via mobile

Very creative menu. Food prep is first rate. Staff is very helpful, but service is slow at times. One room has waterfall and plant walls. Sit there if possible. Still deserves it's rating.

“I wish I could came back again tomorrow”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

Loved this restaurant. My husband and I shared the tuna appetizer -- which was one of the best things we ever ate and we were sorry we shared. It was a tuna tartare with apple chips and wasabi and truly different. The chef came over to chat and the servers were terrific. I would heartily recommend to anyone.
