My friends and I got stranded middle-of-the-night in Bogota by an airline mixup, and the airline arranged for us to stay at Hotel Charlotte Bogota. We didn't arrive at the hotel until 3AM and had to leave again at 5AM to check in for our next flight. The night staff, whose English was limited, went out of their way to make us as comfortable as possible under the circumstances - bringing a hot meal to our rooms, helping two of us to get WiFi up and going in our rooms so we could notify family at home of our travel delay. The hotel lobby and rooms were immacularly clean, well-furnished, and the shower was the best I encountered during two weeks of travel through South America. I believe we were all in "luxury" rooms - had WiFi, large flat-screen TV, huge beds, large supply of personal care amenities including sewing kit, shoeshine gear, and others in addition to the usual shampoo, etc.
