In Bogota all the nice shops are in centers, and the families often go there on saturdays. This one I particulary like as My favorite bar is the Pravda next to the center

This is one of the better high-end shopping malls in Bogota, well situated in the Zona Rosa. In addition to hundreds of shops here, in the Retiro shopping center across the street and the surrounding boutiques, there are numerous dining choices for lunch or dinner. You could spend a whole day here, if that's your thing.

This mall is a good choice to catch a movie, some ice cream or even a book, but no for heavy shopping (as me) No big brands, no big stores to walk by.
I kind of like the place 'cause I work nearby and is a safe option to do some Bank errants and stuff like that. The surroundings are packed with restaurants and big fashion stores.

Here you can do some serious shopping as they have several stores. I also like the fact that they have many places selling food and entertainment options. I think this is like an icon in Bogota's shopping.

High quality merchandise on elegant display, both local and imported, in el Norte (of course!). They cater to tourists and locals who want to participate in conspicuous consumption. Some shops are just absurdly expensive. Others have great stuff, although somewhat overpriced. It is worth to run through in an hour or so, and it is a nice backup - but only Pablo Escobars and dim-witted Gringos do their daily shopping here.
