The basic flaw of this hotel is that all the rooms are different sizes and you are charged the same rate (about $186 per night) whether you get a large, nicer room or a cubbyhole (which I got). Ask to see the room you'll get BEFORE you accept it. And try to get a room with a view of the pretty square in front. I've been to Bogotá on five separate business trips and am trying out the different hotels each trip. This was my greatest disappointment. My stay was for five nights and I should have spoken up at the beginning but was so busy with meetings that I didn't take the time to complain. After I checked out, I had time before I had to go to the airport so I asked for a tour of the rooms. What a surprise! Remember, fore-warned is fore-armed! Speak up when you check in and walk out if you're offered a cubbyhole. For the same money you can do better somewhere else.
