Hotel Casa Guadalupe
Ranked #10 of 342 Bogota B&B and Inns
Reviewed January 7, 2013

Centrally located in the historic part of town, close to bars and restaurants. Although there are some really dodgy characters walking around the area. I would not say that it's very safe late at night to walk around the hotel on your own. There is 24 hours security at the hotel.
The hotel is very new and the italian owners have decorated it nicely.
The rooms are incredibly spacious and clean. I could open my suitcase for once and throw stuff around and there was still enough space to walk. However the showers only have lukewarm water and there is no heating in the room and it can get quite chilly at night.
Guillermo is incredibly friendly and welcoming. He was extremely helpful and worried about our own safety and well being when we arrived late one night. Very sweet!
Breakfast is of good standard.
The rooms can be quite noisy as the local neighbours are very loud and sing and talk till the wee hours in the morning.

Room Tip: The rooms on the upper floors are a little quieter

Stayed in this hotel the last night in Bogota with a friend. Kinda hard for the taxi to find. The staff was friendly, but there is no desk you kinda just find them hanging around the dining area. 24 hr security, had no issues letting us in at 6am after the bar. The room was massive but cold! Shower was clean and breakfast was good. Free Wifi in the room, good signal. For the price and i would stay here again.

The hotel is very conveniently located, a short walk to the very centre or the fast bus network the TransMilenio.
The staff are very hard working, helpful and cheerful. The rooms are enormous for a small place like this, and have a pleasant atmosphere.
You get good advice on transport/restaurants/sights to visit , and generally they are there when you need help.

My only issue was the hot water in the shower , which is individually generated by a small electric gadget , and you have to play with the water pressure to turn it on...and prey..

The treat what i get received in Hotel Casa Guadalupe was excellent. The hotel situated in the center of the country with many mountains around was beautiful for his amazing views.
The decoration modern, a clean and relaxing place, the service is very kindness and the breakfasts very tastefuls. The location is idoneous.

We were due to stay at Chorro B&B, having previously stayed there, but were told on arrival that we had a room at their sister B&B a few doors up the street. Casa Guadalupe was perfect. The room was huge with a very comfy bed, free wifi, flat screen tv and excellent breakfast. In addition Guillo, who greeted us on arrival, was a great host. He provided us with lots of great info on places to eat and drink, managed to find us a taxi in the pouring rain on a Friday night and generally helped make us feel welcome in Bogota. There is a definite cool vibe in the area due to the proximity to the university which brings with it great bars and restaurants. Would definitely return here.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. It was a little hard to find, but totally worth the search. It's in the historical part of the city and near lots of great museums and restaurants. Amazing breakfast included!

Casa Guadalupe is a perfect location, central, close to museums and restaurants and night life.
We had a big room, spotless, nice decorated, with a comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi and cable TV, breakfast was rich and delicious, staff helped us to plan our tour in the city and in Colombia as well.
So what to say more …for sure a nice place HIGHLY RECOMENDED.
