This was my first time to Bogota and I was traveling alone. I wanted to explore the city and all the history in it, without the headache of finding transportation and then hoping that my translations were correct. David was AMAZING from start to end. He was very knowledgeable in all the places we went to and made sure I was also taken care of. He knew all the right spots to take me and the tour was the best choice I made for my first time to Bogota. He had so many more recommendations for me even after the tour ended.

We had a day to spend in Bogota on our way to Machu Picchu. We didn't know what to expect, but I went with Hansa Tours to make the most of our time in Bogota. It was super easy to book. I booked two days before we left and they were able to accommodate my group (4). Alex was our guide and he was just outstanding. They picked us up from the airport (about 15 minutes late), and had a separate tour guide and driver. The custom built our tour to whatever we prioritized. Alex was very accommodating and flexible. He was very knowledgable and a lot of fun too. I would highly recommend this tour company and Alex as a tour guide!

I had a great time touring the Hacienda Coloma coffee plantation in Fusagasuga with Marcello last week. The drive there was just as enjoyable. Our driver, Paul, was friendly and cheerful. On the way, Marcello talked about the culture and history of Colombia, pointed out notable sights as we passed, and even shared personal stories as they related to our discussions. He was expertly knowledgeable as well with regards to the coffee harvesting and roasting process. We also stopped for lunch together on the way back, at a very good and authentic restaurant. The food that he recommended was delicious. I would highly recommend Marcello and Hansa Tours while in Colombia. Thank you for such a memorable day!

Had a wonderful experience with Daniel at Hansa Tours. After waiting outside our hotel for over 1 1/2 hours by Viatar Tour company and ultimately told we could not go on our 8 hr. hike due to their tardiness, we decided to salvage the day and take the Salt Cathedral through Hansa Tours. So happy we did! We were taken by private vehicle from the door of our hotel to the Salt Cathedral. Our tour guide was Daniel and he was exceptional! He discussed every area of town we passed through with great knowledge, information, and historical facts. He was amazing. We learned more about Bogota during our time with Daniel than we did our entire Colombia trip. Not only did we receive a wonderful tour but we made a new friend. I would highly recommend Hansa Tours. On time, reputable, and worth the cost. Ask for Daniel. He is the best tour guide in Colombia!

A great amount of care goes into our guide selection and training so to learn that it pays off is always rewarding for us. We're glad you enjoyed the trip to the famous Salt Cathedral and managed to learn a lot about the Bogota along the way,

I rarely take guided tours but thought that it would be useful for my first day in Colombia to have a guide. I couldn't have made a better choice.

I took the City Photo Tour (which was really a tour of photogenic places in the City) with Marcelo Bitti as my guide. Marcelo was friendly, energetic and a walking encyclopedia. He is an awesome guide. We visited Monserrate and Guadelupe Hill for great vistas of the City, then some graffiti street art in Candelaria, then lunch (good Colombian food) and then off to the market to taste lots of local fruit.

Marcelo was careful to ask what I was interested in and to fashion the itinerary to meet my interests. At lunch, I was free to choose whatever I wanted to eat (after he made some great suggestions). We didn't waste time (for me) in souvenir shops. It was exactly the kind of experience I was hoping to have and I learned more about the City and its residents in that 5 hours than I would have learned on my own in a week of travel.

I enjoyed it so much I surprised myself and signed up for a second day of tours to Guatavita. We traveled about an hour out of the city. I was pretty slow, but we took our time and walked up to the lake (it's a pretty easy walk), the clouds cleared and the sun came out long enough for me to snap some pictures, and then we made our way back to the van in the pouring rain and despite the weather, I counted it as another incredible day in Colombia.

At all times, the drives were friendly, helpful, courteous. Marcelo has a gift for sharing Colombia with his guests.
