Destino Bogota did an amazing job organizing my family's vacation to Colombia! We were traveling throughout Colombia with two children, ages 6 and 7. Sebastian did everything for us from creating our itinerary, to booking our hotels, flights and transportation. He also arranged for fabulous guides that really helped us to get to know the cities and places that we were staying. During the entire planning process and our stay in Colombia, Sebastian was available to answer questions and make suggestions. Our trip was awesome! The hotels were fabulous! The guides were knowledgeable and helpful with the children! The transportation was always on time with clean cars and helpful drivers. This agency provides superior service. I am grateful for all of their hard work to make our trip to Colombia so amazing! I highly recommend them for their professionalism, organization, knowledge of Colombia and great service.

We traveled from Chicago to Bogota mid July to join much of my extended family for a wedding. We scheduled a few extra days for sightseeing, and were lucky to have found Sebastian, and Destino Bogota. After discussing our interests, and group size (12 people) - Sebastian made several great itinerary suggestions, and arranged for a small bus and driver for our day. We confirmed our plans by email after arriving in Bogota, the day before our excursion. That day, our driver Jorge, arrived at our residence 30 min early! He said - to avoid traffic, and not risk being late. That's unbelievable in Bogota - where everyone seems to be late, and blames the traffic. Jorge was polite, helpful, and very professional - an excellent driver. The bus was practically new, in great condition, and just the right size for our group of 12. The very best part of the experience was our tour guide Luis Suarez. An experienced traveler, fluent in 5 languages, Luis was the best host in Bogota we could have hoped for. We enjoyed every minute of our 8 hour day - Luis pleasantly surprising us with endless history, and current facts on Bogota, Colombia, and greater world events. All in multiple languages for our group. We visited the more popular sights like Monserrate, La Candelaria, and the gold museum. He was more like a friend by the end of that day.
We were so fortunate to contact Sebastian at the end of the day, and be able to arrange for Jorge and Luis to take us out again the next day. Our second day was even better! Luis brought us to the Paloquemao Market - flowers and the indoor fruit and vegetable market. What a fun treat - an unusual experiences. Luis was a helpful guide through the tasting of exotic fruits, and helped us find and purchase gorgeous fresh flowers. Everywhere we went, people recognized and said hello to Luis - with respect. He was clearly liked by the locals - and that makes sense once we got to know him. He was thoughtful, and patient with our group - anxious for us to see more, but leading us at our own pace. We enjoyed 2 full days with Luis and Jorge - and had the pleasure to meet Sebastian on our second day - where he joined us for much of the day. We would recommend them to anyone looking for help getting around, and learning about this great city and culture. Many great moments, we look forward to spending time with them again.

Monserrate is a mountain on top of Bogota is about 3200meters over sea level. You have tons of staff to do. You can go upstairs walking, about an hour walk, lots of steps.

You can choose the car cable that has a fee. On the top there is a nice market place and two amazing Posh restaurants called Santa Clara and San Isidro. There is also a Catholic church a pretty architectural one. Nice place to visit on a sunny day and plenty of amazing views from Bogota.

We've met Rodrigo in Bogota the day we arrive and we had an amazing time. And we haven't lost time. We've seen the best of the city and also we went to few little places for a coffee or shopping.
Source of good addresses, always patient, answering to ALL our questions!! ; )
Very generous too. We weren't feeling that we were in a hurry or lacking time to see something. Certainly the part of Colombia i know the most... thanks to him!
Have fun if you go there! Colombia is really nice and interesting!

My bf and I were in Bogota for a few days before flying on to Cali and then the Coffee region. Had a fabulous trip to the Zipquira Salt Cathedral with Angela from Destino Bogota. She translated for my bf from Spanish into English throughout the tour and gave us lots of additional information about Colombia and the local environment. She was on time, helpful, fun to talk to and I would definitely recommend her to anyone going to Bogota and wanting to do a tour.
