Having stayed in the Ibis in Medellin this was an identical stay and just as perfect. Again the rooms are the normal Ibis quality and spotlessly clean. Location is good for downtown. It's not right downtown which is good because its not the best neighborhood and its a quick cab ride to the trendy northern suburbs.

Avoid the breakfast in the hotel if you can, at 13000 for buffet it's pricy when Archie's downstairs is freshly prepared for you, Jaun Valdez coffee and amazing pancakes!

Wok, the famous Bogota Asian food restaurant is across from the museum and is highly recommended for dinner. There is a Juan Valdez cafe, McDonalds, Subway, Wok, Bogota Beer Company and a huge Exito all within easy walking distance.

A good choice and great value.

The best is its location. It is just one block from the carrera 7 tourist street and a 10 minute walk to the Museo de Oro. Wi Fi included at no additional cost. The staff is very friendly. The hotel and the rooms are spotless.best view is the large fish tank across the road a larg bilding that illuminates at night best views Carrera Séptima to the Centro Historico. Breakfast is good, lots of nice choices, and the 24 hour bar/cafe - with a limited but adequate late-night menu - is a bonus.but stay away from the cuban restaraunt across the parking lot one beer $14,000 pesos for one, when you can go down the street and have 4 beers for the same price off $14,000 pesos .

Room Tip: ask for a floor above the 6th flr. and the view of the fish ank i recomended

the hotel itself is a very typical / uniform ibis - but you do not expect more from ibis than ibis. rooms' interiors of this hotel chain are usually 100% identical in bratislava, berlin or bogotá - but views and cities are certainly not.
rooms are clean and well maintained, but i had to ask explicitly for exchange of bedcovers after 5 days when it never happened (albeit i removed "don't bother us and feel green" card from the bed the third day). no pool, no gym in the hotel breakfast rather basic and relatively expensive, thus, i recomend rate without breakfast and use of one of a lot of bistros on the road just below the hotel (including subway and mcdonald for those wo eat such things). all and all - very good budget choice in a safe location close to most of what you want to see in bogotá.
the only real weakpoint: a very slow and sometimes even unstable wifi.

Room Tip: ask for a room in high floors, the noise from the street gets bearable, and you would have a magnifi...

The Ibis Bogota Museo is a simple, contemporary and clean hotel.

In some areas it's a bit basic - no bell service, or room service. However, in other areas it excels - general service, comfort, and security.

The location - directly across the street from the not-to-be-missed Museo National de Colombia - is very good. And it's an easy walk down the bustling - enjoy to the hilt, but stay attentive - Carrera Séptima to the Centro Historico.

Breakfast is good, lots of nice choices, and the 24 hour bar/cafe - with a limited but adequate late-night menu - is a bonus. There's also a 24 hour grocery store directly across the street.

Recommended!

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor and, as the rooms face North or South, you'll get a great view of the city...

Nice hotel... it's in a good location, it is clean, good free Internet connection. If you don't need nothing luxurious but with all the basic requirements fir a business traveler, then this can be a good option.
There is not enough room for having a breakfast, which is a bit uncomfortable. It also needs more variety in the food that they offer for breakfast.
Maybe a plus would be a gym.
Good for the price..!
PS.- it also needs improvements in the heating system.

This centrally located hotel, catering to a mostly business crowd, is clean and efficiently run. Our spartan, New York sized double room lacked a view or amenities such as face towels or toiletries, but was modern and clean. The price was right. The only free amenity was in-room wifi, limited to one device. If you want the Hampton Inn quality breakfast, it is 30,000 COP, about $16 and not worth the price. A small cup of coffee is about $2. I was not familiar with this European chain, but I suspect this is typical. If you need a short term stay in the locale I'm sure thre are worse choices.

This was a recommended hotel, it was very nearby the major tourist attractions of Bogota. 10mins away from the gondola to explore the mountains, and across from the major museums of the city.
The hotel has all the basics, rooms are very small, ideal for 2 nights maximum, bathrooms are comfortable and overall the whole hotel was very clean.
I would go back and use this hotel again.
