“Nice clean and affordable property!”
Reviewed November 17, 2011

I enjoyed staying at the hotel and everything was good. The only aspect that could be better is the service at the bar and the speed of the front desk as people were multi tasking between the bar and the front desk. Overall, great value for money and a nice clean hotel

Nicely appointed rooms, with decent views. Internet fast, although it was a bit tricky to log on. Before I checked out I asked to book a taxi. However, when I checked out (which took a while) I was told that there were two other groups already waiting for a taxi – what’s the point in booking a taxi if when you want it, you just have to join the end of the queue? Good rate paid at the weekend.

Stayed for about a week. Did not get the price I booked online, until I had to fight to show the price of my reservation. No room attendants to help you with your bags. Housekeeping is horrible, because they do not listen to you, and if you leave your personal items outside the the deposit box, they may get stolen. Horrible overall, overpriced food and calls event when calling locally. Stay away from this hotel.

New hotel with cool, modern styling of a boutique hotel, but modest prices. Rooms are comfortable and not noisy despite proximity to major thoroughfare (Carrera 7a), but I'd request an upper floor just to be safe. Location is convenient to museums and shopping; la Candelaria is walkable as is Chapinero. Hotel is secure, although a box of chocolates that I'd brought with me as a gift for a friend was lifted from my room. Recommend using the lockbox provided for valuables. Free internet is a plus. Breakfast buffet is excellent, and a good deal at 12,000 pesos. Eggs, yogurts, breads, cheeses, fruits, juices, cereals, coffee, and even regional artisanal foods. Shower is super: like rainfall coming out of the ceiling. Beds are comfortable.

Been there twice in March 2011.
Location is very central and safe. New hotel with clean rooms and nice personel. Price is good.
Taxis are plenty around and it's cheap ride anywhere in Bogota

you recieve a good impresion ..it´s a very modern and high brand new tower, superb helping staff, 24 hour lobby bar restaurant, right price, good meal, comfort small basic room,no amenities but the shower gel;everything is brand new, confy; good location near downtown and easy acces to modern north Bogotá. It's better than european Ibis. security ok, breakfast ok. It´s a Hampton Inn kind with a Crowne or Double Tree face.

Room Tip: nonoice at the 8th floor

If you are looking for a 4 star accommodation look elsewhere. The customer service was absolutely horrible not to mention the front desk was understaffed. It took me 40 minutes to check in, an 20 minutes to check out. My partner and I had to deal with a person that really didn't want to be checking people in and when I was checking in was extremely rude. When checking out I had to deal with a person that claimed to speak English when she only knew 10 words.

The room was a standard Ibis room. Very clean and quite. Which is unusual considering how loud Bogota generally is. The room is what really won this stay over. Compared to other hotels where I pay triple what I paid at Ibis it was well worth the abuse at the front desk. If you only use the hotel for sleep then Ibis is perfect. If you are looking for a romantic South American getaway look elsewhere.

The Internet was the worst I have ever experienced since the days of dial-up. It rarely worked and if it did it was so slow I just ended up using my iPhone to check e-mail. Skype wouldn't even get a connection. Apparently they are under renovations of some sort.

Hotel was in a central location, and in a decent clean area. Getting a taxi was not an issue. Hotel is next to the Museo Nacional de Colombia and very close to Historico. There is shopping center across the streets with a lot of restaurants and shopping.

Room Tip: I would a floor close to the lobby as the elevators are more secure than the airport and it is a has...
