The food was very tasty and it was an interesting experience. The chef brings out different dishes which keep coming out until you say stop. The food was creative and tasty. The margaritas were really different with cool flavors. There is no menu, so of course we were a little surprised by the prices at the end. It would be cooler if there was a daily menu of the specials with prices so you can make a more informed decision.

We visited Agave Azul with our son who is living in Bogota and realized that it is a very special place with no menu and courses that keep coming until you insist they stop. The margaritas are delicious to go along with the truly excellent and interesting courses. The restaurant is small and intimate rather than grand and sumptuous. The staff are very welcoming and make you feel very at home.

This is a hidden gem you should really try. We were staying in Candelaria and were in the mood for Mexican food and this was the closest we could find. It's right across the street from Tapas Macarena in a really cute neighborhood. The owner is actually Colombian but has lived in Oaxaca, Mexico as well as working in upscale Mexican restaurants in New York and Chicago before returning to her home country.

The interesting thing about this restaurant is that there is a drinks menu but no food menu. After asking about your preferences/ restrictions, the staff will bring you a number of small plates to share until you say you've had enough. These dishes are based on local fresh ingredients and are incredibly flavorful, authentic and delicious. It can be a little disconcerting to not know how much you are paying until you get the bill and certainly this is not a cheap restaurant but in my view, it is definitely worth what you pay for it due to the incredible quality and service.

This restaurant also has some of the best margaritas I've ever tasted. They have some very unusual choices made with various chili peppers which should be experienced.

I have to say I didn't get a chance to taste any dish as I left since I didn't want to be bossed around by rude servers. They were unfriendly and unwilling to answer questions about their food.

This is a great restaurant!!! a little gem, it is fun and funky, it is also attached to a Hostel next store owned by the same owners. there seems to be a flurry of activity there all the time. The food is fantastic, Mexican food, by an American from New York, the kitchen is open, in the corner of the restaraunt. The service is very attentive, and they have a nice happy hour serving Mojito's at a reduced price, these are awesome, best I have ever had. There is not too much seating and it is indoors. Loved this place, loved to food and the buzz surrounding it.
