“Cute and Well Located”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2013

Stayed here for a wedding and was a big fan of the location and the simple but clean rooms. The staff is really friendly and their drivers are the BEST! Never failed to pick us up on time or upset at making pit stops. Also, the breakfast is pretty great for the price — don't skip it!

If I did have to complain about something it's that the staff is better in person than on the phone. Maybe it's the language barrier. But it is something I recommend they work on since they are such a great little hotel.

Room Tip: At this time there is construction going on next door so if you're a light sleeper, ask for some...

PROS: The Hotel is very well located just two blocks away from Zona Rosa (and Zona T), next to malls and restaurants, in a nice as safe neighborhood, surrounded by good restaurants (including Andrés DC, the most famous of Bogota). The staff is friendly and supportive; the facilities of the Hotel are brand new, very clean and beautiful. Nice breakfast and a good strong coffee to start the morning. The room has a nice bed; cable TV and free wi fi (a little slow in the common areas, but very fast in the rooms). There is a bar so you can have drinks in the end of the day (the Hotel is quite an executive type one). Shower is very good. We managed to get a nice deal for the weekend (good value for money).

CONS: Acoustic insulation of floors is poor: you can hear people walking and talking early morning in the corridors. Ask for rooms finished in 7 and onwards (like 707, 708...) because they are far from the elevators (less people talking in the morning). The hotel doesn´t have room service, however it is in a region full of restaurants, so you can even go out or order in food. Although having a nice breakfast with fruits, juices, integral items, cheese, some types of breads, eggs and "pandeyuca", the breakfast is inconstant since during weekdays it is full of options but in the weekends they diminish the variety (e.g.: Saturday and Sunday there were no pandeyuca or eggs and two types of bread, less integrals...). Finally, right now there is a construction right beside the hotel that starts the work at 7am! So you won´t be able to sleep in weekdays and Saturdays after 7am because of the noise (while the construction is going on).

Room Tip: Ask for rooms finished in 7 and onwards (like 707, 708...) because they are far from the elevators...

We booked this hotel on line AND called the hotel too as there is a 2 person limit when you book it online. We called in for our two children and they said it was ok. But on the last day they did add a surcharge for that !
I just wish they had mentioned that on day one ! But other than that, the hotel is located in a safe, nice area. There a couple of shopping malls within walking distance. The staff is very polite and pleasant although they hardly speak any english ! No air air conditioning ! you dont need it though as the temp never goes above 75*F. Make sure you ASK for omelette or eggs at breakfast !!!!!!. They do have it but you if you don;t ask for it, they do not offer it !

We recently had an overnight stay at the BH. The rooms are super clean and although the bed was a little hard for my liking, I still rested well. Breakfast was fine and the fit out kind of rang reminiscent to a NYC style loft residence. Inexpensive and we would return when next in Bogota.

This place is nicely located near Zona T and the service was good, except for an awkward bellhop. The management was friendly and helpful.

The room was a bit on the small side, but nicely equipped and modern. The shower was awful, though. Surprisingly so. Very low flow and seemed to all but run dry when it sounded like someone nearby was also taking a shower.

I have stayed here twice now and quite enjoy it. The rooms are modern, bed is comfortable, wifi quality is not always perfect but generally quite good. The metal stairs and people talking in the hallway can be a bit noisy- recommend taking earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
I have only managed to grab a quick breakfast on my way out but the breakfast seems quite nice.
There are many good restaurants nearby.
It is about 30 mins from the airport but since I haven't found anything good near the airport, it's worth coming out here if you have the time.

I stayed here in February 2011 with my wife for four nights. I was in town for a wedding and was staying in the hotel with my other friends. The hotel's location is convenient; not far from an area with bars, restaurants and shops. There was free use of a computer with internet in the lobby (to the extent you don't have your own computer) and a sauna on the top floor. The park outside of the hotel was safe and clean; I was able to grab a beer at the local bodega and watch a few soccer games while my wife used the publicly avaialble (and colorful) exercise equipment. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.
