Given the decadence of the trendy Peruvian competition, this is probably the most authentic home style Peruvian cooking in Bogotá. A quirky restaurant that looks like a shed bolted onto the front of a house in a completely nondescript but accessible part of Bogotá.
Chicha morada and Peruvian beers available. Amazingly enthusiastic waiting staff that seem genuinely passionate about food, everything seems to be an "orgía de sabores" with hand gestures.
Completely recommend it for great value no frills dining, cards are accepted but you should take cash.
The address is actually wrong in the listing, it is Calle 59 No 17 - 32. Not recommended to walk back to Av Caracas between Calles 59 and 63 after dining, it is not an expensive place so treat yourself to a taxi.
