Great eroded moon-like scenery for a pleasant walk with a touch of scrambling and different view spots. I suggest to come in the morning and bring a hat and water.

the place is quite interesting but i think you can find this type formations anywhere in the world. if you have alot of time you should but if not. skip this.
I thought this was a really good way to spend half a day. I agree it´s a little hyped though. If it was like 3 hours outside La Paz I probably wouldn´t have bothered, but for how convenient it is to get there it´s well worth it.
Don´t get overexcited. No more then one hour. Nice enough though for a walk around, stunning views.
Do not take the tourist bus there! Way too expensive!! Take a local bus in front of San Fransisco church, square, they go there and drop you of in front!
This was an interesting thing to see in La Paz. It is about 30-40mins by bus from San Francisco and cheap entry. (It is much more for tourists than it is for locals, I'm guessing this is how they make their money, but it's still cheap!). You can book a tour around it but I didn't bother as I prefer to explore on my own - I'm not sure how beneficial a tour is. There are 2 ways around, a short or long version, and I took the long one. This could easily be done in less than an hour, but I took my time and snapped millions of pictures along the way. It is beautiful and fascinating to see and worth going to for a morning/afternoon.
