I have to admit that this hotel is really nice.. great location in the best part of La Paz..
if you want to shop and have fun.. not so great if you have business in city center.
Great also if you have problems with altitude it is lower down in the city.
We got the family suite.. really lovely great beds.. great heat... huge refrigerator.. seriously i could stay a month.. lovely living room... if you have a family.. this is the way to go..
We really wanted to enjoy the facilities.. we went down and found they were all being renovated.. would have been nice if they gave us a massage or something.. didn't .
Just a sincere apology..THEY ALSO DID NOT HAVE MY RESERVATION.. THANK GOD I HAD A PRINTED COPY.... wrote that in caps to warn my fellow travelers.. they honored the printed copy.. stay here.. you will enjoy it.. I think the pool is fixed.. ..
The restaurant and the service is good to great..

This is one of the best hotels in La Paz, good food, good location, very good internet access (better than most hotels in the US.) Recommended.

The people here were very nice and accommodating. We arrived really early (6AM) and they had our room ready. Included in the rate was breakfast, which was better than your typical hotel breakfast. There was an omelet bar, fruits, great yogurt, baked quinoa, milk, juice, and coffee/tea. Lobby area served coca tea and cookies, which was supposed to help with elevation (the tea, that is).

Room was large, clean, and the shower was the best part. I love strong showers.

Spa was in the hotel, $40 per massage. Fitness area was adequate although at 15,000 ft. above sea level I doubt you will be needing the cardio.

Overall a great hotel for both personal and business. I would recommend it!

Room Tip: Good corporate rates

This is by far the best hotel we've stayed in Bolivia. The location of the hotel is in the upscale part of town (Zona de Sur). The room is well decorated and comfortable. In-room internet is provided and the buffet breakfast is very good. Staffs are helpful and speak good English. We checked in late so did not have a chance to use other hotel facilities. There is a small market across the street to buy bottle water and snacks before venturing to the remote parts of Bolivia.

Excellent location. In a quieter part of town but the city centre is easily accessible by taxi. The hotel is situated at a lower elevation above sea level than the city centre and this made our transition from the coast a lot easier.
The hotel staff were very helpful and the room we stayed in was excellent. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting La Paz.
