We stayed for three weeks in this hotel with two small girls. We were waiting for our transfer and had already left our rented home. Well we felt like at home here too. The staff played with the girls. They made them mickey mouse pancakes in the morning. We were in a suite with two rooms but with all the amenities of a hotel. it was fantastic. Very well run, excellent staff. Access to the best gym in the city across the street. If on business it is only a 15 minute ride to the city center but worth it to be at a bit lower altitude. Recommended highly

When we arrived at the hotel we super tired and anxious to get to our room, but luck would have it that they had a slight problem with our room and we could not check in. We waiting for about 2 hours, I am sure that they would have given us another room had they had any, but they went out of thier way to make us feel welcome and happy. When we finally got into our room we were so surprised by the fruit plate that was waiting for us, plus a really thoughtful letter telling us how sorry they were. The room was super nice, the bathroom had a little duck in it for the bathtub....amazing. These small little details made us feel at home and we loved every minute of our stay. The best part was that they would all say hello Mr. & Mrs. everytime we left or came in.

I have been in a lot of hotels but I must say that this one was far the best because of the staff and all the little details. I would not think of staying anywhere else but Casa Grande when I go to La Paz

The Staff is very accomodating and friendly. If you have a long term stay in La Paz this may be where you want to stay. Most rooms come with a complete kitchen and there is a fantastic grocery store (Ketel) just across the street. The hotel restuarant serves an excellent breakfast. While the hotel is older than the Camino Real there are definite advantages in staying here--a quick walk to all the San Miguel restaurants and clubs. Rooms are large and well appointed.
