Yesterday, I went in search of one pizza restaurant recommended on TA. It was closed up. I noticed a place across the street called Mozzarella, and risked my life in La Paz traffic to get there :-)
The chef has certificates hanging on the wall from pizza making courses he took in Italy. He prepares pizzas in the front of the cafe so you can see him hand tossing the dough. The place was also packed.
I had a vegetarian pizza and it was delicious! The crust was delicious with just the right amount of crunch, and the ingredients were fresh. Probably one of the best pizzas I've had in South America.
The Wifi is strong, beer, water, and soft drinks are available.
Dessert pizzas are also available (made with Nutella, etc).
I'm a pizza snob who has had amazing pizza in NYC and Chicago. Trust me, this place is good.
In fact, I'm going back today....
