It is a small boutique hotel that needs some restoration. Hot water seemed to take awhile, but it always was there!! Beds were comfortable, wifi worked, okay location, and surprisingly good restaurant upstairs. Staff was great. 20 minute walk to Witch's Market.

I was traveling through South America with a group and we stayed for 2 nights in this hotel in La Paz.
I was really lucky and got one of the biggest rooms of the hotel.
+ nice room; good breakfast; they made special bearly breakfast for our group on the departure date
- Sound isolation to the next room was not so good and I could hear everything but only while I was in the bathroom so that was not a big problem; elevators were small and slow so it took an eternity to wait for one

Our room was large and clean, although the furnishings were a bit tired. We were on the second floor, at the back, and our room - and others around it - was subjected to a frequent noise which we could not pin down: some people thought it might be a goods lift, others that it was air-conditioning plant, but it was quite loud; we did, though, get used to it, and I do not think that it went on all night.

The restaurant is on the fifth floor, so there is a lot of noise if you are on the fourth floor and under the kitchen. My suggestion would be to go for a room as high as you can - e.g., on the seventh floor.

The staff in the hotel were all polite and helpful. The breakfast choice was quite good, and some items varied a little each day. If you ask the waiter, he will have an omelette made freshly for you.

The hotel is in a good location, walking distance from the main shopping areas and with lots of restaurants around.

Room Tip: Get a room as high as you can, and avoid the fourth floor.

This is definitely the worst experience I have ever had after having traveled extensively around the world. The owners are extremely unkind and unprofessional. They will claim the credit card machine is broken and expect you to pay in cash. As a single woman, I was not about to go out at night to get a lot of cash so I asked for an escort to the ATM. The owner rudely said the hotel didn't provide security. He finally caved in, but made a scene out of getting a doorman to assist me and told us to hurry up. His rude behavior along with his wife just went on from there.

The hotel is 5 stars but do not expect it. It is nice regular hotel for travelers not for vacation. very dark furnitures.we were on organized trip and left for few days our suitcases in a special locked room. One of the group left money in the case. It was gone!!!when we came back.
5 stars hotel should be safer !!!

Room Tip: Do not leave valuable stuff in hotel

we had three nights in the hotel in room 204 on the second floor. Natural light was virtually non-existent and even with all available lights on the room was dingy.
There were two double beds in the room and both were very hard and did not afford us a good nights sleep, the breakfast in the morning was average. the bathroom had cracked tiles and certainly needs an upgrade.
on the plus side the reception staff were very helpful and the location was v good for the centre of La Paz.

Room Tip: try to get a room overlooking the street for natural light.

Room and Service was all good. But make sure that you dont get a room in the 4th floor. Breakfast gets served in the 5th, which means that from 7am on you hear walking staff and guests and pulled chairs and tables above you.

Room Tip: everything but the 4th floor, because breakfast gets served in the 5th.
