We visited La Paz recently and decided to eat lunch here. What a mistake!
10 minutes after we ordered nachos we were told that the restaurant had run out of guacamole. How incompetent can they be?
Anyway we re-ordered chile con carne and watched others arrive. Those people, apparently locals, then had their meals delivered while we waited for ours.
After what appeared to be well over 45 minutes we were served with no explanation or apology for the inordinate delay.
How was the food? Frankly, after the abysmal service it doesn't really matter.
It seems to me that this place only cares about locals and to hell with visitors/tourists.
If they continue with this arrogant attitude towards non-locals, word will spread and they will miss out on the growing tourist market. If they become bankrupt as a result I will not shed a tear.
