Couldnt think of one possible negative thing to say about my stay here in the wildrover. Wonderful receptionists that provide 24hr service. Jack and Ben the hostel managers are always willing to help with any queries and tips on the best things to do and see in la paz. Extremely clean bathrooms with cleaners constantly make sure there spotless. Spacious dorms with comfiest beds in town.....Amazing chefs that cook the tastiest food i have ate in any hostel in South America......
Lastly the absolutely outrageously fun parties thrown there every night so much fun with incredibly friends bar staff that create such a great atmosphere for the guests and Yagmur the bar manager is just spot on so nice and friendly and helpful at any time.

Wildrover you made my time in La Paz ill be back :)

We had planned to stay at Wild Rover for 3 nights but we left after just 1. The bed was awesome and the facilities were pretty good - the staff here are really helpful and friendly. It was pretty expensive for La Paz (we stayed in a double room that was super dark and had no windows). We left because it wasn't our scene - the place seems to attract the type of tourists that local Bolivians hate; hard drinking, rude, arrogant and loud. Stay here if you want to party hard with idiots and people who don't have any respect for the culture or country they're in. Make sure it's your scene before you stay.

Can't fault anything about Wild Rover. Reception staff were available 24hrs and were always friendly, Jack the hostel manager was always willing to help with any queries we had. Rooms were comfy, bathrooms were one of the cleanest we had in South American. and it was so handy to have a restaurant in the hostel that served excellent breakfast.

Also the bar staff were amazing super friendly and really good fun they helped make a great atmosphere. Yagmur the bar manager was great at recommending different clubs to go after the bar shut every night.

A good hostel with adequate facilities. (Bar which serves food), accommodation, good welcoming staff who also have knowledge and recommendations in regards to the local area.
If you are staying in this hostel please be aware it is a party hostel with the majority of guests of a younger generation. every night the bar is packed full with backpackers and party goers. you wont get a great night sleep here however it does depend on what your looking for.
Rooms consist of bunk beds and all rooms are shared. If your a person who likes to indulge in privacy this is not the place to be.
Food in the bar is well priced and good.
For me the stay was a good one and I met lots of great people im still in contact with.
A good place to be if ever in La Paz. Especially if travelling alone!

Wild rover lives up to its rep and more! From the managers going the extra mile to make your stay as easy as posible and the staff making you feel part of the crew, it really does make it hard to leave! With a new theme every night and the bar is the right size to keep the vibe up and the guest all interacting. You are sure to meet life long friends! With some of the best food you could find abroad you find it hard to leave the hostel coz its a total package! Wild Rover you have delived 10/10! People who complain about this place should have stayed clear in the first place. It is a party hostel but it does have rules and is over seen by some of the nicest and most approchable Managers in the hostel game!

Room Tip: As soon as your away from the main bar/court yard noise levels drop dramiticly! Your backpacking anyway and hostels round the world get noisey. Biggest tip dont leave home with out ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Rule applies everywhere not just here
